Authorities Identify the Two People Killed During Crash Outside North Hollywood Liquor Store

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 15, 2021) – Authorities have identified the two people who died in an accident in North Hollywood Saturday night, March 13.
 
The accident happened around 6:54 p.m. on West Oxnard Street near a liquor store, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.
 
Witnesses told officers that the driver of a gray Saturn ION was speeding south on Vineland Avenue when he lost control and hit the curb. The crash created a domino like effect as the vehicle then crashed into two other vehicles.
 
Edgar Kocharya, 36, of North Hollywood who had just walked out of the Vineland Wine Cellar liquor store was struck and killed, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
A female passenger in the Saturn, 17-year-old Briana Wolfe, also died at an area trauma center, officers said.
 
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Wolfe’s family cover the funeral expenses.
 
The conditions of the other two passengers were unknown.
 
The driver was critically injured. It was unclear whether he was cited or arrested.
