Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Motorcyclist on Figueroa Street
VERMONT VISTA, CA (April 12, 2021) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a motorcyclist on Figueroa Street near 88th Street Saturday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal accident happened at 12:25 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a northbound motorcyclist struck a pedestrian who was crossing Figueroa Street.
Due to the nature of the crash, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries and died moments later. Meanwhile, paramedics arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital in critical condition.
At this time, investigators have not confirmed where the fault lies and if the point of impact happened in a crosswalk. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the LAPD.
