Man Killed in Fiery Multi-Vehicle Accident on Corbin Avenue [Reseda, CA]

Fiery Multi-Vehicle Accident on Corbin Avenue in Reseda Kills One and Injures Two

 
RESEDA, CA (May 24, 2021) – A man died in a fiery multi-vehicle accident on Corbin Avenue in Reseda Sunday evening, May 23.
 
Around 8:06 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the scene at 7636 North Corbin Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a total of nine vehicles involved, including parked cars.
 
A man, around 25 to 30 years old, died at the scene. Authorities are still trying to confirm his identity and notify his next of kin.
 
One other patient had serious injuries and was trapped inside wreckage. Paramedics transported two people to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Meanwhile, emergency personnel evaluated three other patients at the scene.
 
Video from the scene showed a pickup surrounded by at least three mangled cars, as well as another pickup on its two front wheels, backed onto a street pole.
 
Officers said it is unknown at this time whether street racing was the cause of the crash. Further investigation is underway.
