Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on North Johnson Avenue near West Main Street [El Cajon, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Accident on North Johnson Avenue in El Cajon

 
EL CAJON, CA (May 29, 2021) – A 23-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on North Johnson Avenue in El Cajon Friday morning, May 28.
 
The crash happened around 8:00 a.m., just north of West Main Street. According to the El Cajon Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle northbound when a Chevrolet work truck made a turning movement, violating the motorcyclist’s right of way.
 
The Chevrolet struck the motorcyclist, seriously injuring the victim.
 
Responding paramedics attempted life-saving aid, but the man died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
The Chevrolet driver remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
It does not appear as if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
