Woman Hurt in Brea DUI Accident on Valencia Avenue

 
BREA, CA (May 26, 2021) — A woman suffered major injuries in Monday’s DUI accident on Valencia Avenue near Santa Fe Road.
 
According to Brea police officers, the accident happened around 4:20 p.m. Per investigations, a woman driving a Hyundai Sonata crashed while attempting a left turn onto westbound Santa Fe Road. As a result of the impact, a woman sitting in the passenger seat was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
 
Soon after, paramedics rushed her to UC Irvine Medical Center. As for the driver, officers arrested her on suspicion of DUI.
