One Person Killed in Car Accident at Pleasants Valley Road and Foothill Drive [Vacaville, CA]

One Person Dead in Vacaville Car Accident at Pleasants Valley Road

 
VACAVILLE, CA (June 14, 2021)— One person died in a car accident at Pleasants Valley Road and Foothill Drive Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol the fatal accident occurred around 4:52 a.m. For unexplained reasons, a driver in a 1994 Chevy Camaro overturned at the intersection. As a result of the impact, one person was partially ejected while the other one appeared to have been trapped inside the vehicle.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded and transported one of the victims to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Unfortunately, the other victim died in the crash.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. Although, if any witnesses would like to help the CHP, please contact the department.
