Frank Bethel Killed, Tim Harris Injured in Plane Crash near Likely [Modoc County, CA]

Frank Bethel Dead, Tim Harris Hurt in Plane Crash near Likely and Kauffman

 
MODOC COUNTY, CA (July 27, 2021) — Frank Bethel died in a plane crash Sunday morning near Likely and Kauffman.
 
According to the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal plane accident happened around 9:08 a.m. For unknown reasons, the plane, which had ascended from a field at a ranch, failed to get at a high enough altitude. As a result, the plane went down and crashed.
 
Tragically, 65-year-old Frank Randell Bethel, from Modoc County, died in the accident. The pilot, identified as 65-year-old Tim Harris, survived the crash but with serious injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the crash. Although, the National Transportation Safety Board plans to investigate this case more closely.
