Mark Evans Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Morro Bay Boulevard near Bernardo Avenue
MORRO BAY, CA (July 19, 2021)— Mark Evans died in a pedestrian accident on Morro Bay Boulevard near Bernardo Avenue Thursday.
According to police, the fatal crash happened around noon. For unknown reasons, a Mission County Disposal truck struck 69-year-old Evans. Subsequently, police found Evans’ body near a roundabout on Morro Bay Boulevard.
Tragically, Evans died in the crash. At this time, the driver of the truck is cooperating with the investigation. However, neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have played a role in the accident. If anyone has more information, please contact Morro Bay police at (805) 772-6225.
