Fatal Motorcycle Crash Occurs on Highway 101 in Encino
ENCINO, CA (July 20, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash on westbound Highway 101 on July 14.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at White Oak Avenue around 3:40 PM.
Based on reports, the victim’s motorcycle was involved in a pile-up. However, officers did not yet release the exact number of vehicles that collided with the bike.
As a result, the rider sustained fatal injuries in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
In addition, the crash closed at least four lanes of the highway.
At this point, no other details about this motorcycle crash on westbound Highway 101 are available. Also, an investigation by the West Valley Police is ongoing.
