Rider Dies in Fontana Motorcycle Crash on Valley Boulevard
FONTANA, CA (July 20, 2021) — A rider died in a motorcycle accident on Valley Boulevard at Palmetto Avenue Sunday night.
According to officials, the deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m. when a chase began. For unknown reasons, a pair of motorcyclists fled from police after officers tried pulling them over. One of the motorcyclists, however, collided with a vehicle at Valley Boulevard and Palmetto Avenue.
As a result, the impact hurled the rider off the bike, causing him fatal injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics responded and tended to the people in the vehicle who reportedly complained of pain.
At this time, officers have much to investigate, and the identity of the motorcyclist has yet to be released. However, if anyone would like to help authorities with this crash, please contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials.
