Car Slams into Tree on Highway 2 in Altadena Killing 2 People
ALTADENA, CA (July 29, 2021) – Two people were killed in a car accident on Highway 2 in Altadena early Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 1:50 a.m. at milepost marker 50. According to the California Highway Patrol, an Acura sedan ran off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
As a result, two people in the car both suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
CHP officials are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
