LOMITA, CA (July 26, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Lomita Boulevard on July 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Pennsylvania Avenue shortly after 4:40 AM.
 
Based on reports, the victim was attempting to cross the street at the time of the crash. Subsequently, a vehicle came and struck her.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials only identified her as a woman in her 60s.
 
Afterward, the driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
 
As of now, this pedestrian accident on Lomita Boulevard is still under investigation by the CHP. In addition, no other details are available.
