2 People Killed in Hollister Motorcycle Accident on Highway 152
HOLLISTER, CA (August 10, 2021) — Two people died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 152 near Carlton Road Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle crash happened around 4:00 p.m.
For unknown reasons, a 43-year-old Hollister man operating a 2002 Harley-Davidson entered the eastbound lane from the westbound lane during stop-and-go traffic. Subsequently, the Harley-Davidson collided with a Ford F-550 traveling eastbound.
Due to the force of the impact, the rider and his 41-year-old female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. Soon after, paramedics responded and transported the Hollister woman to Watsonville Community Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Tragically, the Hollister man operating the motorcycle died at the scene.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the CHP.
