Allison Brighton Dies in Solo-Car Crash on Murrieta Hot Springs Road near Sky Canyon Drive

 
MURRIETA, CA (August 16, 2021)— Allison Brighton died in a solo-car accident on Murrieta Hot Springs Road near Sky Canyon Drive Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 3:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, Brighton’s 2016 Kia Forte veered to the right and crashed into a bridge abutment at speeds of 20 to 30 miles per hour.
 
Soon after, paramedics reached the area but pronounced 48-year-old Brighton dead at the scene.
 
At this time, authorities have ruled out DUI as a possible explanation for the crash. However, they also believe she might have undergone a medical emergency prior to the accident. If anyone has more information on this case, please call the authorities.
