Bicyclist Killed in Traffic Accident on Limonite Avenue near Etiwanda Avenue [Jurupa Valley, CA]

Man Dies after Crashing His Bicycle into Pickup Truck on Limonite Avenue in Jurupa Valley

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 16, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Limonite Avenue in Jurupa Valley Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 10:20 a.m. on August 15, near Etiwanda Avenue. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a man was riding a black motorized bicycle when he made an abrupt U-turn. He then collided with a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

As a result, the bicyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was not yet identified.

Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck was unharmed. He stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a contributing factor.
