Hit-and-Run Crash on Mulholland Drive in Hollywood Hills Injures 5 People, 2 Critically

 
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA (August 16, 2021) – Five people sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Mulholland Drive Sunday evening.
 
The crash happened around 9:05 p.m. on August 15, near the Hollywood Bowl outside 7080 West Mulholland Drive. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a car carrying five people was traveling in the area when another vehicle slammed into it.
 
The driver of the second vehicle did not stop after the crash.
 
As a result, a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl in the first car suffered major injuries. Paramedics transported them to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in critical condition.
 
Three other people sustained minor injuries and declined to go to the hospital.
 
Authorities described the hit-and-run vehicle as possibly a white Honda Civic.
 
At this time, the suspect remains at large. An investigation is ongoing.
