Helicopter Crashes near Highway 45 in Colusa County Killing Four People Aboard

 
COLUSA COUNTY, CA (August 1, 2021) – Four people died in a helicopter crash near Highway 45 in Colusa County Sunday afternoon.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on August 1, at Reservation Road nearly seven miles north of the city of Colusa. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a Robinson R66 helicopter with four people on board crashed in a remote area.
 
First responders found the four occupants dead. The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office have not yet released the identities of the victims.
 
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
