Glenda Pickering Dies in Accident with Tree on Glenn County Road 39 near 5 Freeway
BLUEGUM, CA (August 11, 2021) — Glenda Pickering died after crashing into a tree on Glenn County Road 39 near the 5 Freeway Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 62-year-old Glenda Seth Pickering was driving a vehicle and wearing her seatbelt when she slammed into a tree. Tragically, the Washington woman died in the crash. Her 56-year-old female passenger from Kelso, Wash., also suffered fatal injuries.
Around 6:05 a.m., CHP officers reached the scene and found a 2001 Nissan Sentra wrapped around a tree. It was then when authorities learned that both women had died after both failed to respond.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. However, anyone with more information should call the CHP.
