Stopped Car Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in North Hollywood
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (August 17, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 closed several lanes in the area on August 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Highway 134 at approximately 12:11 PM.
Based on reports, a woman was traveling on the highway prior to the crash. Then, she stopped in the lanes due to unknown reasons. Subsequently, her move caused a black GMC Yukon, a red Tesla, and a big rig to collide.
It wasn’t immediately known if anyone was hurt in the crash.
Emergency crews requested tow trucks to remove the vehicles in the roadway.
At this point, this multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 is still under investigation. Also, no other details are available.
