Ruben Armendarez Dies in Riverside Off-Road Accident near Yearling Street and Cadbury Drive
RIVERSIDE, CA (August 9, 2021) — Ruben Armendarez died in an off-road accident near Yearling Street and Cadbury Drive Friday evening.
According to officials, the fatal Jeep accident happened around 8:25 pm. For reasons that require more investigation, a Jeep carrying three people overturned into a ravine along a steep ridgeline.
As a result, the driver, later identified as 52-year-old Armendarez, died in the crash, despite having received life-saving efforts. Meanwhile, fire personnel and Riverside Police transported a 10-year-old boy and a woman in her 50s to a local hospital with severe injuries.
