Josiah Gonzalez Killed in San Luis Obispo Motorcycle Crash on Lopez Drive near Grieb Ranch Way

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 8, 2021) — Josiah Gonzalez died in a motorcycle accident on Lopez Drive near Grieb Ranch Way Saturday night.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol news release, the fatal incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, Josiah Moy Gonzalez drove his motorcycle into the oncoming lane of traffic. Traveling at about 50 to 60 miles per hour, the motorcycle collided with a Kia.
 
Due to the impact, Gonzalez was ejected from his bike and suffered fatal injuries. A female passenger in the Kia suffered minor wounds and later received care at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
