Man Dead in Electric Scooter Crash on Pershing Drive

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 20, 2021) — A man died in an electric scooter accident on Pershing Drive near Redwood Street late Saturday.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the fatal crash happened around 10:55 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 17-year-old girl driving a 2012 Mazda3 struck a 35-year-old man riding a Link scooter. In the investigation, officers learned that the victim and Mazda were traveling in the same direction prior to the accident.
