Two-Vehicle Accident in San Jacinto Kills 73-Year-Old Woman
SAN JACINTO, CA (October 9, 2021) – Diana Borden was killed in a two-vehicle accident in San Jacinto Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on October 7, at the intersection of Community College Drive and State Street. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the 73-year-old victim was driving her vehicle when she collided with another car for unknown reasons.
Firefighters responded and found two people with injuries from the crash. They extricated Borden from her vehicle and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the other driver suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics took them to a hospital for treatment.
At this time, it is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
The San Jacinto sheriff’s station asked anyone with information to call them at 951-654-2702.
