Jasmine Soofi Dies in Head-On Collision with Big Rig near Wheeler Ridge Road and Teale Road
ARVIN, CA (October 19, 2021) — Jasmine Soofi died in a head-on accident with a big rig near Wheeler Ridge Road and Teale Road Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 1:44 a.m. For unknown reasons, 21-year-old Jasmine Leann Soofi was operating a four-door sedan recklessly in the wrong direction. Subsequently, the Bakersfield woman crashed her vehicle into a big rig, bringing both vehicles in a ditch.
Soon after, paramedics and authorities responded to rescue and tend to the patients. However, Soofi died at the scene, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
At this time, the crash requires additional investigation. Although, anyone with more information on this accident should contact the CHP.
