One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway at Via Verde Street [Covina, CA]

Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash Occurs on 10 Freeway in Covina

 
COVINA, CA (October 25, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway on October 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Via Verde Street around 5:30 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a motorcycle, two sedans, and several other vehicles collided in the lanes. As of now, officers have not yet released the details that led to the pile-up.
 
As a result, at least one person died in the incident. Currently, the identity of the victim is not yet available.
 
Also, the crash prompted the closure of several eastbound lanes of the freeway.
 
At this point, the cause of the crash is under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
