One Killed in Rollover Accident near Canyon Road and China Gulch Drive [Redding, CA]

Rollover Accident near Canyon Road in Redding Kills Driver and Injures Passenger

 
REDDING, CA (October 26, 2021) – One person died in a rollover accident near Canyon Road and China Gulch Drive in Redding Monday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 1:00 p.m. on October 25. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Saturn went about 10 feet off the roadway and flipped over.
 
As a result, the driver of the car died at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased pending next of kin notification.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the passenger to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Officers believe the driver was going too fast and swerved off the road.
 
Further investigation is underway.
