Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 20 in Nevada County Ends in Fatality
NEVADA COUNTY, CA (October 30, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 20 in Nevada County Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 9:56 a.m. on October 30, at Omega Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a maroon Subaru collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons.
First responders confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
At this time, CHP officials are still trying to determine if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
