Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Metro Train on Vermont Avenue in East Hollywood
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 11, 2021) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Metro train on Vermont Avenue near Beverly Boulevard Thursday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 8:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a Metro B line train struck and killed a person in a tunnel near the East Hollywood area. Soon after, Los Angeles Fire Department officials responded to find one person dead.
At this time, authorities have no clue as to what led to the incident. Although anyone with more information should contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
Following the accident, passengers expected delays due to the investigation.
