Hit-and-Run Crash on Orange Avenue in Long Beach Sends Six People to Hospital
LONG BEACH, CA (October 31, 2021) – Six people were taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Orange Avenue in Long Beach early Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 2:43 a.m. on October 31, near Anaheim Street. The Long Beach Police Department determined the incident to be an assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence incident involving a man and a woman.
The man allegedly drove a blue sedan onto the sidewalk and struck six people, who were standing on the sidewalk at the tail end of a Halloween party. He then fled the scene and was last seen going northbound on Orange Avenue.
Paramedics rushed five adults and one juvenile to area hospitals.
