William Bushling Killed in Plane Crash on Bradley Peak [Siskiyou County, CA]

Pilot William Bushling Found on Bradley Peak after Plane Crash in Siskiyou County

 
SISKIYOU COUNTY, CA (October 29, 2021) – Police identified William Bushling as the pilot of the plane that crashed on Bradley Peak on October 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, Bushling left Ashland, Oregon around 9:00 AM but never landed at the Glenn County Airport later that day. Local, state, and federal officials searched for the missing black Cessna 150 aircraft with the tail number N5268Q.
 
Then, Siskiyou Sheriff’s officials said Trinity County Sheriff’s officials determined the last known location of the pilot’s phone in the area northeast of Dunsmuir and south of Highway 89 and Interstate 5.
 
Finally, Siskiyou Sheriff’s officials received a report from a man saying he possibly found the missing black Cessna.
 
Subsequently, officials were able to identify a body as William Bushling.
 
At this point, the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the plane crash.
