Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on 39th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 5, 2021) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 39th Street near Harvard Boulevard Sunday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal crash happened around 2:43 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a 46-year-old woman in the South Los Angeles area.
Shortly after, authorities responded and found the woman with serious injuries. However, despite receiving life-saving treatment, the unidentified woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
