ARCATA, CA (October 25, 2021) – Police reported that a woman suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident on Sunset Avenue on October 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Foster Avenue around 3:35 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, the woman was riding a bicycle near the intersection at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a truck hit her.
 
As a result, the woman was badly hurt in the incident. An ambulance responded to the scene on Code 3, with lights and siren on.
