Fiery Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 4 in Farmington Kills One
FARMINGTON, CA (November 1, 2021) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 4 in Farmington Saturday night.
The accident happened just after 6:00 p.m. on October 30, at the intersection with Dunton Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle made an unsafe passing at a high rate speed when it collided head-on with another car. The impact caused of the vehicles to burst into flames.
When officers arrived, they located the driver trapped inside the burning vehicle. They pronounced them dead at the scene.
Paramedics also found three other people with injuries from the crash. The extent of injuries sustained was not immediately known.
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
