Hit-and-Run Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 152 in Madera County
MADERA COUNTY, CA (April 3, 2024) — Police are seeking a driver involved in a hit-and-run big rig accident on Highway 152 at Road 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver turning right from the highway changed their mind. Subsequently, the vehicle collided with a big rig while hopping back on Highway 152. As a result, the semi-truck overturned and spilled paper, cardboard and pallets onto the road.
Shortly after, investigators arrived and found no one injured and the car driver unaccountated for. Information surrounding what led to the accident and the suspect’s whereabouts require further investigation.
