HANFORD, CA (April 12, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on 10th Avenue near Cameron Street Wednesday night.
 
According to Hanford Police, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a male pedestrian decided to cross outside a marked crosswalk on 10th Street. Subsequently, a female driver approaching him struck him with her car.
 
Soon after, police officers arrived at the scene and interviewed the female driver who said she did not see him. Tragically, the man passed away from his injuries. Officials have not released his name.
