Shelby Little Arrested for DUI, Man Killed in Highway 70 Accident [Yuba County, CA]

Shelby Little Faces DUI Charges, Man Dies in Highway 70 Crash near Feather River Boulevard

 
YUBA COUNTY, CA (April 15, 2024) — Shelby Little faces DUI charges following a fatal car accident on Highway 70 near Feather River Boulevard.
 
According to the Yuba Sutter California Highway Patrol, the deadly solo-car accident happened around 1:20 a.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a 55-year-old man took the Feather River Boulevard exit and suddenly lost control. Subsequently, his southbound red Nissan sedan veered off the road and struck several trees before traveling onto the freeway.
 
Soon after, a Good Samaritan who saw the wreck flagged down a passing ambulance with a road flare. However, the unidentified Olivehurst man passed away from severe injuries. Officials have not released his name.
 
Shortly after the accident, 20-year-old Little, approaching the scene, crashed her white 2015 Audi A4 into the crashed Nissan sedan. Fortunately, neither the Good Samaritan nor any of the paramedics reported any injuries in the second crash.
 
Police booked Little into the Yuba County Jail for driving drunk. If anyone has more information on this fatal accident, please call the CHP.
