1 Dead, Fiery 2-Car Crash on 105 Freeway near Vermont Avenue [Inglewood, CA]

Fatal Fiery 2-Vehicle Accident on 105 Freeway in Inglewood

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (May 7, 2024) — One person died in a fiery 2-car crash on the 105 Freeway near Vermont Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 10:44 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, two vehicles collided, causing one vehicle to catch on fire. Subsequently, CHP officers responded to find a Honda on fire in the carpool lane and an unidentified sedan on the freeway’s right shoulder.
 
Upon assessing the crash, paramedics confirmed one fatality. However, they did not release the person’s name, age or gender.
 
After the crash, CHP issued a SigAlert to close the Vermont Avenue on-ramp and all westbound lanes of the freeway to investigate.
