1 Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Milliken Avenue in Ontario
ONTARIO, CA (July 17, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident at Milliken Avenue and Jurupa Street.
According to the Ontario Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 11:00 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver struck a man on the eastbound lanes of Jurupa Street. Soon after the Ontario Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene, finding the victim with fatal injuries.
Officials have not released his name.
Authorities initially thought the driver left the scene, classifying this as a hit-and-run. However, the driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
At this time, the Ontario Police Department’s traffic services division is looking further into the accident.
