Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Beach Boulevard at Taylor Drive [Huntington Beach, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with SUV on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (October 6, 2024) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach Friday evening on October 4.
 
The fatal accident around 7:00 p.m. at Taylor Drive. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the man was riding his blue 2024 Yamaha R1 motorcyclist at a high rate of speed when he collided with a northbound gray Mercedes GLS450 that was beginning a U-turn in the dedicated left turn lane at Taylor.
 
The impact caused the man severe injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 24-year-old Rosemead resident.
 
The SUV driver, a 47-year-old man, remained at the scene.
 
Police said intoxication was not a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation. They asked anyone with further information to call them at 714-536-5231.
