Elderly Man in Wheelchair Suffers Serious Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 15, 2024) – A 70-year-old man in a wheelchair was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood early this month on November 4.
 
The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. near Erwin Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a dark-colored sedan hit the victim who was crossing the street.
 
After striking the man, the driver of the sedan did not stop.
 
Paramedics responded and took the man to a hospital with severe injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers are still looking the hit-and-run suspect. They described the suspect vehicle as a dark gray or black sedan with crash damage on the bumper and the front of the hood on the driver’s side.
 
They asked anyone with information to to contact detectives at 818-644-8025.
