Half-Naked Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 91 Freeway near Main Street

 
CARSON, CA (November 11, 2024) – Lizbeth Torres was hit and killed by a vehicle in Carson Saturday night on November 9.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:39 p.m. on 91 Freeway, just east of Main Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, Torres, who was not wearing pants, walked across the eastbound lanes of the freeway when a vehicle struck her.
 
She suffered multiple blunt traumatic injuries and died at the scene. She was 35 years old.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
An investigatation into this fatality is ongoing.
