Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 110 Freeway in South Pasadena

 
SOUTH PASADENA, CA (November 10, 2024) – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on 110 Freeway in South Pasadena Thursday evening on November 7.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:50 p.m. at Marmion Way. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking southbound on the freeway when a vehicle traveling north on Marmion Way struck her.
 
Responding paramedics found the victim suffering from fatal injuries and they pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Authorities only described the victim as someone in her 40s.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
The LAPD’s Central Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
