1 Hospitalized, Motorcycle and Car Collide on Skyway in Magalia

 
MAGALIA, CA (December 23, 2024) — A man suffered major injuries in Friday’s motorcycle accident on Skyway near Woodward Drive.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to a collision report after 3:05 p.m. near Chuck’s Place. Authorities learned that a motorcycle crashed, leaving the rider with major injuries.
 
Two CAL FIRE Butte County engines responded, as well, and transported the victim to Enloe Health with broken bones and other serious.
 
Meanwhile, CHP investigators scoured the scene to determine that the northbound motorcyclist crashed into the left rear door of a Honda Accord that drove from the gas station. Authorities added that the Honda driver tried making a left turn but moved into another lane, allowing a pickup truck more room to turn.
 
The force of the impact ejected the motorcyclist onto the road.
 
By 4:30 p.m., CHP officers cleared the scene and traffic resumed. Fortunately, the rider had a helmet on. If anyone wants to add to this case, contact the CHP.
