Traffic Accident along Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs Kills Two Drivers
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (December 2, 2024) – Two people died in a traffic accident on Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs Saturday morning on November 30.
The fatal accident happened shortly after 6:00 a.m., just north of Varner Road. According to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, two vehicles collided along the southbound lanes of Palm Drive.
As a result of the crash, the drivers of each vehicle were both pronounced dead on scene. Their identities were not immediately available.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Palm Drive is temporarily closed from Dillon Road to Varner Road for the next several hours because of that traffic collision. Traffic coming into the city on Palm Drive is being rerouted to Varner Road
