41-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Bloomington

 
BLOOMINGTON, CA (February 17, 2025) – Denise Sanchez was hit and killed by a vehicle in Bloomington early Saturday morning on February 15.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:50 a.m. on 10 Freeway, just after the Cedar Avenue exit. According to California Highway Patrol, Sanchez was walking across westbound lanes of the freeway when a vehicle struck her.
 
The impact caused Sanchez fatal injuries and she died at the scene. She was a 41-year-old Bloomington resident.
 
Meanwhile, the male driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
At this time, the circumstances of this fatality are still under investigation.
