Arizona Man Dies after Colliding Head-On with Another Vehicle in Mojave
MOJAVE, CA (February 25, 2025) – Terry Lee Keeney was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Mojave late Saturday afternoon on February 22.
The fatal accident happened around 5:25 p.m. on Highway 58, just north of Minard Trail. According to the California Highway Patrol, Keeney was driving on the highway when he collided with another vehicle.
The impact caused Keeney fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was 79 years old from Tucson, Arizona, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
It was unclear if there were other injuries sustained in the crash. It was also unknown if drugs or alcohol was involved.
An investigation is underway. CHP officials asked anyone with further information to contact them at 760-872-5960.
