DK Law’s Annual Turkey Drive Serves 500 Santa Ana Families

On Monday, November 24, 2025, DK Law hosted its annual Turkey Drive at Heroes Elementary School in Santa Ana. In partnership with Badge of Heart, the LAPD, the Santa Ana Police Department, and local elementary schools, we came together to serve 500 families across the community with complete Thanksgiving meals and goodie bags.

The day began early as DK Law attorneys, staff members, volunteers, and police officers worked side by side to organize and prepare hundreds of meal kits for distribution. Volunteers distributed Thanksgiving meal kits and DK Law goodie bags, while officers and staff helped carry boxes to families’ vehicles. The event radiated warmth and connection, with balloons, coloring tables, and plenty of smiles.

Serving the Community Together

DK Law’s Managing Partner Daniel Kim and Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) Mina Kim teamed up with the school principal, Santa Ana City Council Member Jessie Lopez, Santa Ana police officers, and Badge of Heart founder Ken Lew. Together, we created an atmosphere of gratitude and hope during a season that can be challenging for many.

For Managing Partner Daniel Kim, it was about giving back to the community that gave him so much. “Santa Ana is the community that shaped us,” he said. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to help ensure our neighbors enjoy a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving.”

Badge of Heart founder Ken Lew reflected: “For many families, the holiday season can be difficult. Today was about making sure every child and every parent felt care, support, and hope.”
