Thomas Carillo Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Fullerton
FULLERTON, CA (June 27, 2021) – Thomas Carrillo was killed in a hit-and-run in Fullerton late Wednesday evening, June 16.
The fatal incident happened around 10:23 p.m. in the 2100 block of East Orangethorpe Avenue. According to the Fullerton Police Department, the 33-year-old man was possibly riding a skateboard when a vehicle struck him.
Paramedics immediately responded to the scene and transported Carrillo to a nearby hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, Carrillo succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the involved driver did not stop after the crash. Police described the suspect vehicle as a dark four-door sedan with possible front-end damage.
