Motorcycle Rider Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Wolf Valley Road in Temecula

 
TEMECULA, CA (May 26, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident at Wolf Valley Road and Camino Olite in Temecula on Thursday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. on May 23. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Wolf Valley Road before initiating a left turn and crashing into the motorcycle heading northbound.
 
The impact sent the motorcyclist onto the ground.
 
Responding deputies found the motorcyclist unresponsive. They rushed him to a hospital, where the victim later succumbed to his injuries.
 
One person in the passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.

It was unknown if drugs or alcohol was factor in the crash, which is under investigation. Authorities urged anyone with further information to contact Deputy Ott of the Southwest Station at 951-696-3000 or the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office at 951-776-1099.
