Two-Car Accident on South Jackson Street in Red Bluff Leaves One Driver Dead

 
RED BLUFF, CA (July 13, 2024) – A man was killed in a two-car accident on South Jackson Street in Red Bluff Friday afternoon on July 12.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:30 p.m. near Snow Mountain Way. According to the Red Bluff Police Department, a 2017 Ford Escape was traveling southbound on South Jackson Street when it drove into the northbound lane and crashed into a Honda SUV that was heading northbound.
 
As a result, the 34-year-old male driver of the Honda suffered severe injuries. Paramedics rushed him to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Escape, an 18-year-old man, was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in stable condition.
